Pie Chart

This pie chart shows the percentage of time I spend on activities on one day.The seven main activities, chief clean up, sleeping, working, reading, dining, studying at school, and commuting, make up 100% of total. A day is divided into 24 hours. From this chart we can see I spend most of the time at work(34%), it occupies most of my day-time. Subsequently, I averaged seven hours' sleep a day; it takes up 29% of my time. It is the second longest activity after work. These two part are over 5o% of my day, and school is lesser than that, it only takes 3.5 hours per week-day(15%). Time spent on dining and cleaning up are shorter than at school, with 10 % and 6 % respectively. A little time is spent on reading and traffic as well, at only 4% and 2%.

Paraphrase and Summarise
Five years ago a man took a pair into his local dry cleaners in Washington DC to get them altered for ten dollars. But the cleaners lost them. And now that man, Roy Pearson, who happens to be a judge, is suing.
The South Korean owners, offered him a thousand dollars to settle, later raising that to twelve-thousand dollars. But Mr Pearson wasn't satisfied. He claims he is owed sixty-seven million dollars. Much of this case rests on two signs which were on the dry cleaners' walls which said "satisfaction guaranteed" and "same day service." Mr Pearson says he didn't get either, so the signs amount to fraud.
But why sixty-seven-million dollars? He's claiming this is the sum of fines compounded daily, emotional damage, legal fees and car hire to get to another cleaners since the case began. This lawsuit might seem hard to believe and some Washington lawyers have described it as absurd, saying the case should be thrown out of court and Mr Pearson removed from office.

The South Korea owener give Mr. Pearson a thousand dollars to settle the case, after that raising the price to twelve thousand dollars.Even so, Mr. Pearson wasn't happy and he even think that the cleaner owes he sixty-seven million dollars.Because most of dry clearner's walls always says " satisfaction guaranteed" and "same day service", but Mr. Pearson says he didn't get either,he said he was taken in by the sign.
But why he request sixty-seven-million dollars? He profess it's the sum of forfeit compounded daily, emotional damage, legal fees also since the case begin, that he had to pay the money that Mr. Pearson hire a car to get to the clothes to another laundry. This law suit is very inconceivable, and some lawyer in washington esteem the case as irrational. And conceive the case should be stopped immediately, also Mr. Pearson should lose his job.

Contrast between train and HSR
Taiwan has excellent communications in west- arteries. Now, we have HSR (High Speed Rail), it greatly saves our time. Before the HSR was constructed, a journey form Taipei to Kaohsiung may take five hours. Now the juney only takes two hours by a HSR train, it's much faster.
Besides, HSR is much cleaner and steadier than train, it runs every an hour. As to the train the running time is not that regular, You have to look at the timetable to know when you can take a train. THE price of a HSR ticket nearly double that of a train ticket. In addition, a HSR train just stops at a few platform, while a train go to many stop. There are still many problems in the HSR ticketing system, for this point, train seems much better. And now, the safety of HSR is still a problem that concerns many people.

How to make your own T-SHIRT
Do you want to make a T-shirt which just belongs to yourself?
The first thing is that you have to draw a design print and decide what it is made(decide what material you are going to use). Secondly, the most important process of making a dress is to make the pattern for the dress. Whether a dress will look or not is depends on the pattern's line.
Thirdly, buy all the materials of making a dress. They consist of a pair of scissors, fabric, carbon paper, a scissors, pins, some paillettes,a ribbon, some beads, a pencil, thread, buttons and a hand needle and also prepare a sewing machine and an iron.
The next step is press the fabric and put the fabric on a flat place to show lengthwise grain, because the lengthwise is less elastic. Then pin the pattern pieces on the fabric of lengthwise, with that keep 1.5~3cm seam allowance to trace out the farbic and cut the fabric as well. And then you will get the two bodices, two sleeves, a neckline maybe a pocket!
After that you have to overlock these pieces and sew the pocket on the front body, and then sew the front and back body up and then to sew up the sleeves. Finally, you can stitch the paillettes, beads, bottens and whatever you like, and you will get the unique T-shirt by yourself!
